About the role

  • Regional Coordinator supporting BMO, a personal and commercial bank providing wealth management and investment services. Managing strategic initiatives, risk, budgets, reporting, communications, and stakeholder escalations.

Responsibilities

  • Support an assigned senior leader in executing strategic business priorities
  • Gather and integrate information to improve effective and profitable business/group operations
  • Interpret financial and business results and provide planning, support, and recommendations
  • Support operational and compliance risk management and attestation/reporting processes
  • Provide counsel and coordinate logistics for community and industry events
  • Develop consistent communications for senior leaders and leadership teams
  • Develop solutions and recommendations aligned with business strategy and stakeholder needs
  • Support operational program planning and implementation
  • Support strategic initiatives with internal and external stakeholders
  • Analyze strategic problems, data, and information to provide insights and recommendations
  • Conduct independent reviews and resolve strategic issues
  • Monitor performance, address issues, and produce regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards
  • Build change management plans and lead or participate in readiness, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation, and sustainment activities
  • Define communication plans, develop tailored messaging, and identify distribution channels
  • Build relationships and ensure alignment with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage service and customer complaint escalations through resolution and follow-up
  • Plan and control unit operating expenses within budget
  • Coordinate budgets and reporting to compare actual results with budget
  • Use tracking and exception-reporting systems to manage information
  • Integrate information from multiple sources to improve processes, analysis, and reporting
  • Apply BMO’s Risk Management Framework and make risk-informed decisions aligned with business strategy, policies, laws, and regulations

Requirements

  • Typically 4–6 years of relevant experience
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience
  • In-depth verbal and written communication skills
  • In-depth collaboration and team skills
  • In-depth analytical and problem-solving skills
  • In-depth influence skills
  • In-depth data-driven decision-making skills
  • Ability to apply BMO’s Risk Management Framework and comply with applicable policies, laws, and regulations
