About the role
- Greek-speaking Personal Support Worker providing personal care, companionship, and errands for Qualicare Home Care clients. Flexible part-time shifts with local travel across the assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and hygiene assistance
- Prepare meals
- Perform light housekeeping
- Accompany clients on outings
- Handle shopping and errands
- Assist with medications and reminders
- Assist with ambulation and transporting clients
- Provide companionship
- Follow care plans
- Complete documentation and charting
- Work under the supervision of the Care Coordinator
- Build close relationships with clients through ongoing shifts
- Provide compassionate and personalized home care services
Requirements
- Fluent in Greek
- Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student)
- Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
- Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Ability to travel around location territory
- Access to Internet/mobile phone
- Driver's license and access to a vehicle
- Required PSW certification to perform this position, or willingness to obtain
- Compassionate, caring, and reliable
