About the role

  • Technical Product Manager shaping Boeing’s Azure Databricks platform for aviation maintenance analytics. Owning roadmap, governance, CI/CD, onboarding, and product requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the Core Team roadmap and document platform features for development
  • Manage internal platform stakeholders and obtain consensus and approvals
  • Communicate with product teams to understand needs, pain points, and feedback
  • Lead proof-of-concept studies and own evaluation and graduation criteria
  • Own the platform prioritization governance model, intake criteria, forum membership, and dependency tracking
  • Define and execute CI/CD and platform observability strategy, including pipeline health monitoring, deployment automation, and internal tooling
  • Define team and customer onboarding pathways for the Data Platform, including catalog access, support tiers, and training materials
  • Work directly with software development teams to define and implement capabilities
  • Own requirements end-to-end, including PRDs, acceptance criteria, backlog structure, and SDLC stage gates, leveraging AI-assisted tooling
  • Support sales and marketing in communicating and demonstrating capabilities to customers and at conferences
  • Champion quality, learning, trust, and collaboration
  • Drive platform strategy for an Azure-hosted Databricks Lakehouse and align the shared Data Platform roadmap with product portfolio outcomes

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in software product management or product ownership
  • Experience collaborating across teams and developing platforms or frameworks
  • Experience owning a platform or infrastructure roadmap in a multi-team environment, including managing dependencies and establishing governance for stakeholder prioritization
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices, with ability to define requirements and success criteria for platform reliability and deployment pipelines
  • Experience defining or operating a data catalog or data-product discovery capability, such as Unity Catalog, DataHub, Alation, or equivalent
  • Experience with Databricks
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Must meet applicable requirements for safeguarding controlled goods
  • Must be eligible to access U.S. export-controlled data
  • Successful candidates must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest assessment process
  • Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense
  • Preferred: 8+ years of experience in software product management or product ownership
  • Preferred: Knowledge of aviation or aerospace industry
  • Preferred: Educational or professional background in a STEM field
  • Preferred: Experience applying data science to real-world problems
  • Preferred: Experience with Agile frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban
  • Preferred: Experience with Python
  • Preferred: Understanding of aviation maintenance data flows and systems such as Trax, AMOS, SAP, or MXI
  • Preferred: Experience with Databricks Unity Catalog governance, Delta Sharing, or federated data mesh architectures
  • Preferred: Postsecondary education in a related field
  • Preferred: Experience taking a data platform to market externally
  • Preferred: Experience using AI-assisted product workflows
