About the role
- Data Engineer building scalable databases and components for regulatory and business analytics at Bounteous. Collaborating with global teams and following agile methodologies.
Responsibilities
- The candidate will join a team responsible for building scalable, high-performance databases and components that support regulatory, business analytics (metrics reporting), and operational risk reporting.
- Collaborate closely with operations partners to define project requirements.
- Development follows an agile methodology grounded in Scrum, Kanban Jira boards, and XP best practices.
- Participate in Agile delivery and contribute to automation, scheduling and CI/CD practices for ETL jobs, reporting workflows and production deployments.
- Provide production support for ETL and reporting processes, including job monitoring, issue triage, data reconciliation and root cause analysis.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in ETL and reporting development
- 3-5 years of experience with SQL and writing stored procedures
- 3-5 years of experience building ETL pipelines
- 3-5 years of experience in Snowflake and DB2 databases.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for reporting and data analysis
- Have worked in Agile, DevOps and Git
- 3-5 years of experience with Python for ETL and report generation
- Perform data validation and reconciliation.
- Knowledge of reporting tools such as Business Objects or Tableau is good to have.
- Experience in cloud platforms (Azure/GCP/AWS) good to have
