About the role

Data Engineer building scalable databases and components for regulatory and business analytics at Bounteous. Collaborating with global teams and following agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

The candidate will join a team responsible for building scalable, high-performance databases and components that support regulatory, business analytics (metrics reporting), and operational risk reporting.
Collaborate closely with operations partners to define project requirements.
Development follows an agile methodology grounded in Scrum, Kanban Jira boards, and XP best practices.
Participate in Agile delivery and contribute to automation, scheduling and CI/CD practices for ETL jobs, reporting workflows and production deployments.
Provide production support for ETL and reporting processes, including job monitoring, issue triage, data reconciliation and root cause analysis.

3-5 years of experience in ETL and reporting development
3-5 years of experience with SQL and writing stored procedures
3-5 years of experience building ETL pipelines
3-5 years of experience in Snowflake and DB2 databases.
Strong knowledge of SQL for reporting and data analysis
Have worked in Agile, DevOps and Git
3-5 years of experience with Python for ETL and report generation
Perform data validation and reconciliation.
Knowledge of reporting tools such as Business Objects or Tableau is good to have.
Experience in cloud platforms (Azure/GCP/AWS) good to have
