About the role
- Senior Business Specialist modernizing CBC/Radio-Canada’s finance and procurement operations through Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP. Bridging business stakeholders and technology across S2C, P2P, EPM, and core finance systems.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
- Assess cross-functional system impacts and maintain an end-to-end business process perspective
- Recommend Oracle-enabled solutions aligned with business goals and system capabilities
- Facilitate requirements sessions and workshops
- Collaborate with IT, Business Systems, Release Management, and Testing teams to implement, test, and deploy enhancements
- Maintain governance over system-change documentation and lifecycle traceability
- Support system enhancements and release management, including regression testing and impact analysis
- Partner with Reporting and Data Governance teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and process integrity
- Support training and adoption strategies, communications, and end users
- Manage and execute support tickets through timely resolution, documentation, and stakeholder communication
- Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and continuous improvement across financial systems and workflows
- Contribute to CBC/Radio-Canada’s Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP modernization initiative
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, or Information Systems
- 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a large enterprise or public-sector setting
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion or other major ERP systems
- Strong understanding of financial and procurement processes, including GL, AP, AR, Purchasing, and Reporting
- Experience supporting S2C, P2P, EPM/EPBCS, and CORE modules and related third-party integrations
- Proficiency in business process mapping, workflow design, and requirements documentation using Signavio, Visio, JIRA, or Azure DevOps
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Familiarity with testing, defect management, and release coordination
- Advanced English reading, speaking, and writing skills
