About the role
- Proposal Specialist preparing proposals and supporting client services in a Contract Research Organization. Collaborating with teams to advance human health in a fully remote role.
Responsibilities
- Prepare proposals and task orders, ensuring coordination and tracking through the CRM system
- Develop and/or review proposals or statements of service for accuracy
- Prepare sales price estimates for protocols, bid requests, study revisions, and additions
- Follow up with internal (and potentially external) stakeholders to ensure proposals are complete
- Assist management in monitoring sales pricing practices
- Ensure all required legal documents are in place
- Interact with scheduling or project management groups to identify the dates for studies
- Support responses to RFIs through coordination with local stakeholders
- Maintain and update the tools and processes required to provide accurate proposals
Requirements
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in life sciences, applied sciences, business, or related field
- No prior experience is required; however, experience in histopathology, immunohistochemistry, and/or genomics, as well as in client services, budget preparation, or the use of a CRM system, would be considered an asset
- Proficiency in French and English, spoken and written
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
