Cyber Development Manager responsible for building broker partnerships and driving engagement in Canada. Collaborating with underwriting and development teams to support growth in the cyber insurance sector.
Responsibilities
Build brand presence with new and existing broker partnerships.
Create efficiencies and processes around management and engagement of those relationships.
Empower brokers through training and education to be experts in Cyber insurance.
Responsible for key account management and performance metrics with a focus on Canadian relationships.
Develop existing and new broker relationships, including onboarding.
Participation in the delivery of presentations both in person and virtually.
Work with marketing to develop sales support materials based on market demand.
Maintain extensive knowledge of key competitors in trading territories.
Identify new go to market strategies for cyber.
Frequent engagement with underwriting teams to align with underwriting strategy.
Requirements
Good knowledge of cyber as a class of business and proven business development capability.
Strong business development experience from either broking or underwriting.
Excellent knowledge of the broker and cyber landscape in Canada.
Excellent understanding of both Canadian insurance conventions/practices and insurance fundamentals and best practices from an agency management perspective.
Expected to work relatively autonomously but at a fast pace.
