About the role

  • Intern supporting service provider claims submission process at Circular Materials. Responsibilities include managing contracts, submitting claims, and providing exceptional customer service remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Support the service provider onboarding process.
  • Create, update, and manage system contracts using SAP.
  • Responding to inquiries from service providers to facilitate the claims submission process.
  • Monitor claims submitted by service providers through the We Recycle portal.
  • Communicate with service providers to obtain necessary information to support claims.
  • Review and validate the accuracy of service provider submissions.
  • Create purchase orders following claim validation.
  • Report irregularities and service provider performance issues to management.
  • Maintain pricing and related condition tables within the SAP system.
  • Perform daily maintenance of team reports and logs.
  • Support the development of monthly reports and executive dashboards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal / external clients.
  • Conduct trend analysis to examine data stability and uncover insights.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Post-secondary diploma/degree program in purchasing, business administration, supply chain or a related discipline.
  • Experience in waste management, materials management and logistics, accounting, or related operational business activities is considered an asset.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Excel (x-lookups, pivot tables).
  • Experience with SAP and SharePoint is an asset.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate complex data into simple, actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and a strong focus on data accuracy and reliability.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented approach.
  • Motivated to learn and develop, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments, building strong relationships with stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
