About the role
- Quality Assurance Analyst testing Computershare’s customer communication solutions. Designing test strategies, validating implementations, and supporting client UAT across global teams.
Responsibilities
- Obtain information from functional specifications on requirements
- Analyze business and functional requirements and develop test strategies
- Create, maintain, and execute test plans
- Design and execute test cases to ensure system and product quality and conformance with requirements
- Identify, document, and track defects
- Conduct benchmark testing with a focus on performance
- Maintain and execute regression tests for system upgrades
- Coordinate end-to-end testing with the client’s QA department
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to peers, Senior Programmers, Project Manager, and Commercial Development Manager
- Debug complex problems to characterize potential root causes
- Collaborate with local, regional, and global CCS and CPU teams to deliver projects
- Support client testing throughout the UAT phase
- Follow policies, procedures, standards, processes, and organizational goals
- Learn and understand internal systems and processes
Requirements
- Completion of a university degree in an IT related field
- 4+ years of quality assurance testing experience in a commercial environment
- Knowledge of software testing and quality assurance principles, methods, and processes
- Strong database knowledge and SQL/DB querying experience
- Previous experience with Jenkins, SharePoint, ADO, and PDF compare tools
- Thorough understanding of black box, white box, and end-to-end solution testing
- Ability to read and analyze data structures (Flat, XML and Multiple Record Structures)
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
