Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements for accuracy, completeness, redundancy, ambiguity, and testability
- Define testing scope, approach, risks, and assumptions
- Design, build, and prioritize test cases
- Execute manual and automated testing
- Report and communicate test status and metrics to stakeholders
- Lead or participate in peer reviews of project deliverables
- Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams to define testing requirements and validate software solutions
- Plan, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases
- Document and report defects using established processes and tracking systems
- Create automated REST API tests using JMeter or Postman
- Create and maintain UI automation tests using Playwright
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines for continuous monitoring and failure alerting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology and 5 years of full life cycle Software Quality Assurance process experience, or 9 years of full life cycle Software Quality Assurance process experience
- Track record of successfully leading multiple large-scale QA projects, including planning, estimating, and prioritizing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with project stakeholders and senior leadership
- Experience with the full software development life cycle, testing methodologies, version control systems, and quality assurance
- Experience writing API automation tests using Postman
- Demonstrable problem solving and analytical skills
- Experience manually testing APIs, Desktop, and Web applications
- Experience writing UI automation tests using Playwright
- Experience writing tests using TypeScript or JavaScript
- Experience designing and implementing Software Quality Assurance standards and practices
- Involvement in an Agile Environment; SAFe Agile methodologies preferred
- Background utilizing JMeter or similar tools for automated API testing is a plus
