About the role

  • Test Development Team Lead leading automation and AI-assisted testing for Nureva’s IoT collaboration platform. Driving quality across embedded devices, applications, cloud services, and Azure connectivity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Test Developers and Quality Engineers
  • Establish team objectives, priorities, and best practices
  • Foster automation, engineering excellence, and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with Software Development, DevOps, Product Management, and Customer Experience teams
  • Participate in hiring, coaching, performance management, and career development activities
  • Define and execute testing strategies across embedded systems, cloud services, web applications, and mobile applications
  • Lead release qualification and ensure product quality before customer deployment
  • Improve test coverage, risk assessment, traceability, and testing
  • Own quality metrics, dashboards, and product-readiness reporting
  • Design and implement scalable automated testing frameworks
  • Expand automated coverage across embedded and device functionality, REST/SSE APIs, mobile and web applications, and cloud services
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
  • Improve product testability and observability with development teams
  • Design and implement AI-assisted testing infrastructure using agent-based systems
  • Enable systems to observe product behavior, analyze source code, interpret logs, consume telemetry, generate test plans and scenarios, identify test gaps and risks, and produce developer recommendations
  • Evaluate and integrate LLMs, coding agents, and automated reasoning systems into the testing lifecycle

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
  • 10+ years of software development, test automation, or quality engineering experience
  • 2+ years leading technical teams or mentoring engineers
  • Strong software development skills in one or more modern programming languages, including TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or C#
  • Experience building and maintaining automated testing frameworks
  • Experience testing distributed systems, cloud services, and APIs
  • Experience working in Agile software development environments
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and DevOps
