About the role
- Internship opportunity for mechanical engineering students at Dana in Boucherville, Quebec. Working on real tasks in electrical motors validation and verification laboratory.
Responsibilities
- Design with support from experience designers set up instructions and work orders for execution by the laboratory operators.
- Design new tooling for use in the Test Lab.
- Complete tests for fixturing validation.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Siemens NX 3-D modeling software required.
- If the candidate does not have NX experience proficiency in another program such as CATIA, ProE/Creo, Solidworks, or SolidEdge will be considered.
- Hands on mechanical aptitude required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
- Experience with hydraulic equipment preferred.
- Experience working with data acquisitions systems and PLC’s preferred.
- We are looking for students in 3rd or 4th year in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
