About the role

Defensive Security Analyst responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating threats to Desjardins's systems and networks. Engaging in continuous monitoring and risk assessment to ensure robust security posture.

Responsibilities

Identify, analyze, eradicate and mitigate threats to Desjardins's systems, networks and applications
Analyze security incidents and determine their scope, impact and origin
Collect data from a variety of defence tools
Perform ongoing monitoring and interpret, analyze and report all events and anomalies in accordance with guidelines
Carry out risk assessments and tests to analyze vulnerabilities
Develop and recommend appropriate mitigation measures to strengthen Desjardins's security posture
Analyze issues and situations related to resolving security events, detecting vulnerabilities, and protecting systems and networks
Participate in diagnostic activities, provide opinions and help develop recommendations to secure systems
Develop tools, methods and processes for security analysis
