About the role
- Defensive Security Analyst responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating threats to Desjardins's systems and networks. Engaging in continuous monitoring and risk assessment to ensure robust security posture.
Responsibilities
- Identify, analyze, eradicate and mitigate threats to Desjardins's systems, networks and applications
- Analyze security incidents and determine their scope, impact and origin
- Collect data from a variety of defence tools
- Perform ongoing monitoring and interpret, analyze and report all events and anomalies in accordance with guidelines
- Carry out risk assessments and tests to analyze vulnerabilities
- Develop and recommend appropriate mitigation measures to strengthen Desjardins's security posture
- Analyze issues and situations related to resolving security events, detecting vulnerabilities, and protecting systems and networks
- Participate in diagnostic activities, provide opinions and help develop recommendations to secure systems
- Develop tools, methods and processes for security analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of French is required
