Responsibilities
Act as a subject matter expert for the maintenance, repair, and operational integrity of compact construction equipment
Ensure high-quality fleet readiness and technical reliability
Diagnose and repair engine, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Interpret complex technical manuals to perform accurate repairs
Address client inquiries and complaints with a focus on exceeding customer expectations
Oversee the safe transport of equipment, including proper load securement and tie-down procedures
Maintain Tool Rental Centre (TRC) Large Equipment (LE) parking lot standards
Communicate clearly, both verbal and written, partnering with store TRC associates and customers.
Respond to customer service calls by facilitating repair, and arriving on-site within 24 hours
Maintain vehicle compliance in accordance with company and provincial regulations
Follow all safety protocols by following all Home Depot policies, such as safe driving practices and proper lifting techniques.
Requirements
Valid Driver’s License for the province you reside in and good driving record
2 years of relevant work experience
Must be 18 year or older
Must be legally permitted to work in Canada
Working knowledge of handheld technology (ex. smartphone, laptop, tablet, applications, etc.)
Must provide own standard tools used in the trade/craft.
