About the role
- Interim accountant optimizing Odoo and DATEV finance processes for ELANI Sports, a home-workout fitness products developer and retailer. Improving reporting, cashflow planning, and automation.
Responsibilities
- Month-end close and investor reporting: Analyze, structure, and optimize existing close processes, while further developing and automating reporting
- Year-end close: Establish a transparent, clearly coordinated closing process with defined responsibilities and specific work steps
- Cash flow management: Optimize the existing bottom-up, Excel-based cash flow planning, improve data sources, and, where appropriate, introduce a suitable software solution with scenario analysis capabilities
- ERP and accounting processes: Analyze the existing DATEV and Odoo system landscape, improve interfaces, and automate manual processes
- Process management: Independently identify and prioritize weaknesses, and implement improvements operationally in collaboration with the teams involved
Requirements
- Completed professional qualification as a certified accountant, commercial apprenticeship, or comparable qualification
- Very good knowledge of Odoo
- Optional: Experience with DATEV
- Experience in cash flow planning and reporting
- Experience in process optimization and automation
- Ability to work independently and enthusiasm for building structures that are not yet fully established
