About the role

  • QA Engineer responsible for designing test strategies and ensuring product quality at Embark. Collaborating with teams to support continuous improvement and automation tools.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and executing test strategies
  • Ensuring product and process quality
  • Identifying defects and driving corrective actions
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
  • Perform Web UI, and API testing to validate functionality, performance, and system reliability.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Cypress and Playwright.
  • Write, maintain, and enhance automation code using JavaScript and TypeScript, including reusable components and test utilities.
  • Execute automated tests, report results, and log defects within Azure Boards.
  • Support release testing cycles and perform manual testing when necessary.
  • Develop and maintain automation tools, performing both enhancements and bug fixes.

Requirements

  • Are comfortable working with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar
  • Understand API testing and have experience with tools like Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent
