About the role
- QA Engineer responsible for designing test strategies and ensuring product quality at Embark. Collaborating with teams to support continuous improvement and automation tools.
Responsibilities
- Designing and executing test strategies
- Ensuring product and process quality
- Identifying defects and driving corrective actions
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform Web UI, and API testing to validate functionality, performance, and system reliability.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Cypress and Playwright.
- Write, maintain, and enhance automation code using JavaScript and TypeScript, including reusable components and test utilities.
- Execute automated tests, report results, and log defects within Azure Boards.
- Support release testing cycles and perform manual testing when necessary.
- Develop and maintain automation tools, performing both enhancements and bug fixes.
Requirements
- Are comfortable working with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar
- Understand API testing and have experience with tools like Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent
