About the role
- Senior Facilities Engineer at Enbridge managing facilities design for capital projects and working with various functional groups. Ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards while leading project development.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the development of projects by providing technical, estimating and schedule input.
- Complete the engineering and build scope of core/major projects, from initial development to closeout and turnover to operations.
- Manage third-party engineering firms to deliver high-quality, compliant designs within budget and schedule; review and approve key deliverables.
- Support the development/revision of tools, guidelines and specifications used to execute projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a Mechanical focus from an accredited university.
- Currently registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with APEGA.
- 6+ years of progressively responsible experience in engineering and project management.
- Natural gas facilities design and construction experience, specifically large horsepower natural gas compression, and metering stations for pipeline transmission.
- Experience at an EPC and/or Owner Operator company is an asset.
- Effective interpersonal skills to communicate technical issues and impacts to other technical and non-technical staff.
