About the role

  • Staff Infrastructure Engineer developing and maintaining scalable infrastructure for EvenUp's legal tech platform. Collaborating across teams to drive technical excellence and support product growth.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, implement, and ship infrastructure solutions quickly—delivering meaningful impact within your first 2 weeks
  • Evolve our infrastructure to support rapid product and user growth at scale
  • Champion automation and reliability using Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and reusable frameworks
  • Take concepts from idea to production—whether it’s a critical component of the infra stack or a major system capability
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and run lunch-and-learns to raise the bar for technical excellence
  • Mentor other engineers and drive cross-functional projects in partnership with product, data, and ML teams

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, SRE, or DevOps within cloud-native environments
  • Deep hands-on experience with AWS or GCP, Kubernetes cluster administration, Terraform (or other IaC tools), and Python
  • A passion for code-based infrastructure that is simple, reusable, and maintainable
  • Strong analytical skills and a proven ability to navigate complex technical challenges
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to explain technical tradeoffs and drive team alignment
  • Fast learner who thrives in collaborative, cross-functional environments
