About the role

Ingénieur en surveillance de chantiers de transport chez EXP, firme internationale d’ingénierie et d’architecture. Suivi de projets de ponts, chaussées et électrotechnique au Québec.

Responsibilities

Conduct construction inspection for transportation infrastructure projects, including bridges and structures, pavements/road engineering, and electrical engineering
Participate in construction meetings
Perform qualitative and quantitative quality control of the work and its implementation
Measure completed work, compile quantities, and prepare the documents required for payment applications
Prepare daily reports and notices
Coordinate construction inspection activities with project teams
Assist the Project Manager with change management, the preparation of change orders, and the documentation of work through memoranda
Occasionally assist with the preparation of project plans, specifications, and estimates
Perform all other duties related to the position

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
3 years of experience inspecting or carrying out bridge and structure projects and/or infrastructure and pavement projects
Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
ASP Construction safety course
Knowledge of the standards and procedures of Quebec’s Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable is an asset
Class 5 driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
