About the role

  • Senior Brand Designer owning brand strategy, architecture, and creative production for Foundant’s mission-critical social-good software. Building cohesive systems across products, segments, campaigns, and acquisitions.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain Foundant’s brand framework covering color, logo usage, typography, photography, iconography, and illustration
  • Define how the brand flexes across client segments while maintaining a unified identity
  • Set product-level visual standards across CommunitySuite, GLM, SLM, SmartSimple, and GivingData
  • Maintain and evolve scalable brand architecture for future M&A activity
  • Partner with marketing, product, and sales leadership to translate business and positioning strategy into visual standards
  • Build guidelines, templates, and components for non-designers
  • Lead integration of future acquisitions
  • Produce brand and marketing creative including campaigns, newsletter templates, content assets, sales collateral, web assets, product launches, events, trade shows, and social content
  • Use generative AI creative tools to increase creative output while preserving Foundant’s brand standards
  • Build and maintain reusable templates and components
  • Direct photography and illustration style and execution
  • Scope, brief, and quality-check work from external freelancers or agencies

Requirements

  • 7–10 years in brand/graphic design
  • Direct ownership of brand systems or style guides
  • Portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking, frameworks, systems, guidelines, and polished production work
  • Hands-on fluency with AI creative tools such as Midjourney and Adobe Firefly
  • Experience designing across multiple client segments, sub-brands, or product lines while maintaining a cohesive identity
  • Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
  • Experience collaborating strategically with cross-functional partners to deliver business results
  • Ability to operate as a creative team of one, setting priorities and driving creative strategy and execution
  • Experience building or evolving brand architecture through M&A or multi-brand growth
  • Ability to execute brand merge, sub-branding, or brand retirement decisions
  • Experience briefing and managing freelancers or agencies
  • Experience designing for the social good sector preferred
