About the role
- Senior DevOps Engineer responsible for infrastructure design and reliability at Freedx, a cryptocurrency exchange. Proposing solutions and leading technical discussions in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Propose solutions and challenge assumptions
- Participate in architecture discussions
- Take ownership of platform initiatives
- Ensure reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Solid understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, load balancing, firewalls, VPNs, troubleshooting network issues)
- Strong Linux and operating system knowledge
- Experience troubleshooting distributed systems and production incidents
- Understanding of observability, monitoring, logging, alerting, and SRE principles
- Experience designing reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure
- Ability to investigate complex performance and stability issues under pressure
- Experience working in fast-paced production environments with high availability requirements is highly desirable.
