About the role

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies executive setting global engineering, maintenance, and asset lifecycle strategy. Leading reliability, sustainability, compliance, and transformation across biopharma production sites.

Responsibilities

Set the enterprise engineering and maintenance strategy, aligning reliability, efficiency, and sustainability targets with business goals
Build and lead a global Community of Practice across facilities, engineering, and maintenance
Serve as business process owner for reliability, calibration, preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance
Define and govern facility and utility engineering design standards with metrology, maintenance, and site teams
Lead integrated facilities management and optimize supplier strategy and outsourcing
Drive continuous improvement and digitalization using CMMS/EAM, analytics, and predictive/prescriptive approaches
Champion safety, quality, and compliance aligned with regulatory and environmental standards
Own the asset strategy and lifecycle plan, including technology, sustainability impact, and Site Master Plans
Partner with executive leadership, Quality, Operations, and Fujifilm Engineering Co., Ltd. to influence policy, investment, and enterprise decisions
Lead, mentor, and scale high-performing teams
Oversee function financials with clear P&L accountability
Support all FUJIFILM Biotechnologies sites globally

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is required
Minimum of 12 years of experience in project controls, cost management, and scheduling within the Biotech/Pharma industry
At least 10 years leading, managing, and developing people
Minimum of 4 years leading leaders, including Managers/Supervisors
Proven experience implementing integrated project controls systems
Proven experience leading cross-functional project teams
Experience working in a changing, project-driven organization
P&L oversight/responsibility
Experience with change management, large transformations, or greenfield environments
Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
Proven experience managing maintenance operations and driving engineering improvements in a regulated industry
Executive presence with a track record of influencing enterprise policy and capital strategy
Mastery of engineering and maintenance best practices, asset lifecycle management, and reliability methodologies
Proficiency with maintenance management systems and engineering technologies
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in cross-functional, multi-site settings
Passion for safety, quality, and sustainability
