About the role

Responsibilities
- Participate in the design, modeling, and evolution of information architectures, dimensional models, and a data warehouse on Azure
- Design, develop, optimize, and maintain high-performance data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and SSIS
- Write and optimize advanced queries, complex stored procedures, and Transact-SQL (T-SQL) scripts
- Create and enhance interactive dashboards and analytical reports in Power BI
- Work using the Scrum methodology with three-week sprints
- Participate in peer code reviews
- Rigorously document solutions in Jira and Confluence
- Ensure the security, reliability, integrity, and continuous monitoring of data flows and databases
- Collaborate closely with business analysts and the quality assurance team
- Report to the Database Team Lead within the Strategy and Innovation department
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Mathematics, or a Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Computer Science combined with relevant experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data warehousing and data modeling
- Excellent knowledge of SQL and T-SQL development
- Good understanding of ETL data integration pipelines
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and cloud databases (Azure SQL)
- Experience with Power BI, including data modeling and dashboard creation
- Knowledge of SSIS and SSRS
- Experience with conceptual modeling, dimensional modeling, or Data Vault
- Familiarity with Git (Bitbucket), Jira, and Confluence
