Responsibilities
Manage a complex caseload of clients requiring specialized supports and services
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders for emergency responses
Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide intensive case management
Review and reconcile financial transactions
Requirements
University degree in Health, Human Services or Social Services or a diploma from two year Community College Program in Health, Social Services or Human Services with experience in counseling
Training for Ontario Works Case Aide or Ontario Works Case Worker
Knowledge of the Ontario Works Act, Regulations, Policies, and Procedures
Proficient in Social Assistance Management System (SAMS) and Homeless Individuals and Families Information System (HIFIS)
ASIST training and nonviolent intervention training an asset
Valid class G driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
