About the role
- IT advisor orchestrating governance, roadmaps, and transformation priorities for iA Financial Group, a Canadian insurance, savings, and wealth management company. Supporting executive decisions and cross-functional technology execution.
Responsibilities
- Monitor integrated roadmaps and transformation priorities
- Orchestrate cross-functional initiatives related to technological ecosystem simplification, obsolescence reduction, and other transformation efforts
- Ensure alignment among enterprise architecture, portfolio management, strategic planning, and governance mechanisms
- Translate strategic directions into actionable plans, delivery milestones, and tracking mechanisms
- Develop and maintain dashboards, key performance indicators, and analyses
- Prepare executive presentations, briefing notes, and decision-support materials for senior leadership
- Coordinate governance forums and follow up on decisions, commitments, timelines, and accountabilities
- Highlight risks, issues, dependencies, and trade-offs requiring stakeholder and leadership attention
- Collaborate with leadership, architecture, and portfolio management teams to promote alignment and consistent execution of strategic priorities
- Contribute to delivering the IT 2030 Strategic Plan and transformation priorities led by ITE4B
Requirements
- Ability to lead through influence and mobilize stakeholders in a complex, matrixed environment
- Strong analytical, synthesis, and strategic communication skills
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives, manage interdependencies, and follow through on commitments
- Sound judgment and political acumen
- Ability to transform ambiguity into concrete, structured action plans
- Solid understanding of technology environments, enterprise architecture, and portfolio management practices
- Several years of experience in governance, transformation, strategic advisory, or orchestration of complex initiatives
- Advanced level of French
- Intermediate level of English
- Ability to communicate occasionally by email and phone with English-speaking vendors across Canada
