Responsibilities
- Lead strategic projects of varying scope involving multiple teams and spanning several years in a complex matrix environment
- Coordinate business and IT workstreams
- Establish decision-focused governance, clarify roles and decision-making authority, and facilitate steering committees and progress reviews
- Oversee resource, cost, and schedule planning while maintaining visibility into capacity, dependencies, and financial considerations
- Lead multidisciplinary teams, organize planning, monitoring, and retrospective activities, and foster collaboration and proactive stakeholder communication
- Manage simultaneous iterative deliveries and contribute to agile and hybrid practice evolution
- Measure and improve delivery predictability
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies through appropriate action plans
- Produce data-driven progress reports for senior management using ADO, LeanKit/Planview AgilePlace, and Power BI
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, project management, or another relevant field, or equivalent work experience
- More than 8 years of project management experience
- Significant experience in scaled agile or hybrid environments, including SAFe, Kanban at scale, or Lean Portfolio Management
- Experience with multi-team coordination, programs, or cross-functional initiatives
- Ability to establish robust governance, manage changing priorities, and navigate ambiguity
- Experience leading and engaging multidisciplinary teams in matrix environments
- Proficiency with planning, tracking, and performance visualization tools
- Curiosity about artificial intelligence and Generative AI and their application to improving delivery practices
- Excellent proficiency in French, both spoken and written
- PMP, SAFe, or equivalent certification, training in artificial intelligence, understanding of the insurance industry, and in-depth knowledge of information technology and AI are considered assets
