About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assess new disability claims by gathering and analyzing medical and non-medical information
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of claims
  • Communicate decisions to clients via phone and written correspondence
  • Process and pay disability benefits in accordance with QPAY guidelines
  • Maintain accurate records and update client files using internal systems

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in administrative or finance domain
  • Strong ability to assess claims quickly using QPAY criteria
  • Proficiency in interpreting contracts, clauses, and procedural documentation
  • Strong understanding of QuickPay criteria and exclusions
  • Skilled in processing payments and updating internal systems
  • Competent in drafting clear and professional letters and emails
  • Advanced level of English and French for communication with insurers and internal partners
