Responsibilities
Collaborate with various departments to increase the use of data analytic tools, reducing manual processes and enhancing the reliability of decision-making and compliance activities.
Collect, process, and analyze data using programming languages such as SQL or Python.
Create clear and informative data visualizations using tools like Power BI.
Conduct data cleaning and preprocessing to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Translate complex data findings into a compelling narrative for non-technical stakeholders.
Present insights and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with other analysts and business professionals to support data-driven decision-making.
Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in data analytics.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field
Proven experience (5+ years) as a Data Analyst or in a similar role
Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL or basic Python
Strong understanding of statistical methods and their applications
Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, or equivalent
Knowledge of database systems and experience with querying and managing databases
Familiarity in data focus working environment and cloud-based services (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail
Excellent data storytelling and presentation skills
A natural curiosity and eagerness to learn and stay updated with industry trends
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
