About the role
- Cloud Data Engineer responsible for modern Data & AI solutions on Microsoft Azure. Collaborating with clients and teams to develop production-ready data platforms and support analytics.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing, building, and delivering modern Data & AI solutions on Microsoft Azure
- Work closely with clients and internal delivery teams to develop scalable, production-ready data platforms
- Contribute across the full project lifecycle including development, testing, deployment, optimization, and client collaboration
- Partner with solution architects, project teams, and customer stakeholders to implement modern lakehouse and data engineering patterns using Microsoft technologies
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience designing, developing, and deploying Microsoft data platform solutions
- Experience with data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, or related Azure data services
- Proficiency in PySpark, SQL, Python, and modern ETL/ELT development patterns
- Experience with lakehouse architectures, medallion data models, and enterprise data engineering practices
- Experience with CI/CD deployment automation using Azure DevOps or GitHub
- Knowledge of Azure services including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure Data Lake Storage, and related services
- Experience with T-SQL development including stored procedures, views, and performance optimization
- Microsoft Cloud certifications (Fabric, Azure Data Engineer, or related)
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a related field
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks, analytics engineering, or modern AI workloads
