About the role
- AI-first Development Manager leading developers building activation and agentic onboarding for Jane’s clinic management SaaS. Owning growth outcomes, experimentation, architecture, and responsible AI adoption.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a team of developers through technical and professional coaching
- Review architecture, pair with developers, and ship code alongside the team
- Own Activation outcomes with product, design, and data partners
- Guide direction for AI-driven onboarding, including problem framing, prioritization, and infrastructure needs
- Shape weekly release processes, instrumentation, and learning-focused experiments
- Champion pragmatic and responsible AI adoption
- Partner with Jane AI, assistant teams, and core product teams to provide a connected clinic experience
- Build products and tools that help clinics run businesses, care for patients, and grow communities
Requirements
- Hands-on software development background with progression into development team people management
- Continue writing and reviewing code
- Comfortable evaluating architectural tradeoffs and guiding technical direction with senior and staff developers
- Experience on a growth or product-led growth team
- Owned an activation or conversion outcome, including a case where shipped work did not move the metric
- Took an AI product from idea to customers and revenue, owning it end to end
- Strong understanding of instrumentation and properly run experiments
- Coaching experience with examples of helping team members grow
- Comfortable offering opinions and being wrong in discussions
- Experience in healthcare or vertical SaaS is a bonus, not required
- Eligible to work in Canada or the United States without current or future sponsorship
