About the role
- Product Owner leading Jerry.ai’s customer-facing AI agents and automation platform. Driving LLM products, experimentation, platform standards, and OpenAI integrations for car and home ownership.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end development of the AI platform and customer experiences from roadmap through rollout
- Partner with engineers on prompt strategies, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails, balancing latency, cost, and accuracy
- Translate technical concepts between engineering and the broader organization
- Establish AI best practices and platform standards
- Drive improvements in answer quality, customer satisfaction, and automation rates through experimentation
- Work with OpenAI partners to evaluate and deploy next-generation voice models and workflow automation
- Own the roadmap and unified platform direction for AI capabilities including voicebot, computer use, and consumer AI applications
- Report directly to the COO
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a technical role such as forward deployed engineering or technical product management at a fast-paced startup
- Passion and curiosity for AI systems, including modern LLMs
- Track record of turning complex strategic ideas into scalable, production-grade products
- Strong understanding of API design and system architecture
- Familiarity with SQL and ability to analyze data independently
- Experience building custom AI workflows
- Ability to navigate technical tradeoffs and implement AI platform standards
- Must currently reside in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, North Carolina, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Ontario, Canada
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada
