Responsibilities
- Contribute to the creation of K-12 assessments using subject matter expertise and blueprints
- Use and improve content and item management systems
- Ensure items align with state standards and item development best practices
- Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and content teammates
- Create engaging, interactive, and informative assessments
- Innovate with new item types enabled by AI technologies
Requirements
- Deep pedagogical expertise and expertise in state and national standards
- 2+ years classroom experience teaching elementary school mathematics
- Experience with collaborative work on time-sensitive projects
- Interest in using new AI tools as assistants in content creation
- Experience in K-12 assessment development
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Proven cross-cultural competency skills
- Growth mindset and willingness to innovate
- Project management skills, including fluency with Google Docs and spreadsheets
- Willingness to learn new tools
- Passion for education
- Middle School teaching and assessment experience (nice to have)
