About the role
- Infirmier autorisé évaluant l’état de santé et prodiguant des soins aux résidents âgés du Domaine Mahonia. Supervision des infirmiers auxiliaires et coordination des soins.
Responsibilities
- Assess residents’ health status
- Provide medical care, emergency care, routine care, and preventive care
- Determine and ensure the implementation of nursing care and treatment plans
- Provide nursing and medical care and treatments to maintain health, restore health, or prevent illness
- Meet with patients’ families, provide information, address concerns, and offer support
- Supervise licensed practical nurses
- Prepare and ensure that residents’ care records are completed
- Keep management informed about residents’ files and prepare execution reports
- Liaise with other healthcare professionals
- Perform all other related duties
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Member in good standing of the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ)
- Knowledge of SyMO software is an asset
- Part-time position: 6 shifts out of 14, day and evening
- Availability to work one weekend out of two
- Day shift: 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; evening shift: 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
