About the role
- Data and Reporting Analyst in Reporting and Analytics team at Manulife. Developing dashboards and reports in Power BI, collaborating with team members to support operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI to visualize operational performance and key metrics
- Perform data modeling, transformation, and analysis across multiple datasets to build insight‑driven dashboards that support decision‑making
- Build skills in Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Copilot Studio) and SQL
- Manage permissions and access controls across Power BI workspaces and SharePoint sites
- Document solution requirements and present recommendations
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, or data modeling
- Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard development and visualization
- Exposure to SQL or similar programming/scripting languages
- Basic understanding of the Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft 365 suite
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and consistency
- Exposure to cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, Databricks)
- Understanding of financial services or wealth and asset management is an asset
