Senior Business Insights Analyst at Manulife transforming data sources into actionable insights. Developing dashboards and reporting structures to inform strategic initiatives and enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Deliver actionable insights by creating and managing ad hoc queries and reports
Design and implement dashboards that provide real-time visibility into key metrics
Collaborate with teams to identify reporting needs and streamline data visualization
Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy to ensure data accuracy
Identify and address gaps between current data and desired state
Establish robust governance standards for data integrity
Play a key role in the adoption of new systems and technologies
Lead initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and drive business growth

Expert level experience with PowerBI
Hands-on experience with large-scale systems in software engineering
Familiarity with big data processing and building data APIs
Experience with automated data quality frameworks is a plus
Advanced working SQL knowledge
Experience working with relational databases and SQL
Experience working with cloud native architecture (PaaS) using Azure stack
Experience with Azure ML, DataBricks (Spark), Azure Data Factory will be an asset
Experience in building ETL pipelines
Good understanding of project management methodologies and workflow design
Strong organization, communication and interpersonal skills
