About the role
- Investment Banking Expert supporting Mercor’s AI-lab research projects with financial modeling and investment analysis. Contributing human expertise to training and enhancing frontier AI systems remotely.
Responsibilities
- Contribute investment banking expertise to a research project with a leading foundational model AI lab
- Work on projects focused on training and enhancing AI systems
- Provide expertise in financial modeling, pitch decks, investment/analysis summaries and memos, or company/industry analysis
- Collaborate with leading researchers
- Complete the fully remote work on an independent schedule
- Contribute as an independent contractor; projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance
- Work without accessing confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience working at top firms in investment banking
- Experience in at least one of: Financial Modeling; Pitch Decks; Investment/Analysis Summaries and Memos; Company/Industry Analysis
- Ability to commit at least 10 hours per week
- Availability for a minimum four-week engagement
- Must be based in the U.S., UK, Canada, Europe, or Australia
- Must not be an H1-B or STEM OPT candidate
