About the role

Senior Product Designer crafting digital experiences at Method, a global design and engineering consultancy. Shaping product strategy, UX direction, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for client products.

Responsibilities

Work closely with Method clients and Product, Development, and QA team members
Conceptualize and craft seamless user experiences supporting business objectives
Participate in product strategy from the beginning
Shape product direction and turn ideas and concepts into workable designs
Produce wireframes, prototypes, style guides, and high-fidelity designs
Explore and experiment with design solutions
Advocate for simple, elegant solutions to complex problems
Balance pixel-perfect attention to detail with low-fidelity design choices
Use user feedback and data to evolve products
Conduct meetings and presentations to build consensus and achieve buy-in
Validate approaches through working software

Experience leading the design efforts for one or more successfully shipped or successfully downloaded online or mobile products
Portfolio demonstrating UX expertise and compelling stories about design decisions and compromises
Strong understanding of HTML, Javascript, and CSS
Comfort using prototypes as a means of communication
Willingness to use the command line and an editor of choice
Ability to collaborate directly with developers
Understanding of UI best practices
Ability to deliver polished interfaces under deadlines
Excellent persuasive communication skills across diverse audiences and organizational levels
Curiosity and drive for continuous learning
Travel for team and client meetings, typically up to 15%, is required
