About the role
- Freelance Mechanical CAD and Simulation Engineer training AI agents in real CAD environments. Designing geometry, building reference solutions, and evaluating engineering tasks for a global platform.
Responsibilities
- Help train and evaluate AI agents operating inside a real CAD environment on long engineering tasks
- Design part geometry
- Build reference solutions
- Judge and evaluate AI agent attempts
- Work alongside CFD engineers who simulate the built geometry
- Complete project tasks estimated at around 10–20 hours per week during active phases
Requirements
- A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of professional, hands-on CAD modelling experience
- Experience with CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Creo or similar
- Experience preparing geometry for simulation, such as ANSYS, is a strong plus
- An active professional CAD licence of your own (required)
- Comfortable with Python and GitHub
- English at B2 level or above
