DevOps Engineer responsible for operational stability of a global IVR platform across AWS and on-premises. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support releases and troubleshoot issues.
Responsibilities
Own the operational stability, availability, and reliability of a global IVR platform across AWS and on‑premises environments
Support production deployments, environment configuration, and release activities
Manage day‑to‑day operations of high‑availability IVR and voice platforms
Monitor system health, performance, and availability using logs and metrics
Respond to and participate in production incident investigation and resolution
Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, voice, SIP, and call‑flow‑related issues
Collaborate with engineering, architecture, QA, and analytics teams during incidents and releases
Participate in on‑call rotations and off‑hours production support as required
Integrate security best practices ("secure-by-default") into the pipeline, including access control and vulnerability scanning
Requirements
5+ years of experience supporting production systems in a DevOps, SRE or operations‑focused role
Strong working knowledge of AWS cloud services
Strong hands‑on experience with EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, and VPC networking
Strong experience with Unix/Linux production environments
Experience supporting AWS‑hosted relational databases (e.g., Amazon Aurora MySQL, PostgreSQL) in production environments
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, routing, firewalls)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and practices
Ability to run network and traffic analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark)
Strong troubleshooting, investigation, and production‑support skills
Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, architecture, data, and operations teams.
