Senior Software Engineer developing and maintaining features for Mozilla's Internal Developer Infrastructure Platform. Focus on CI/CD, Kubernetes optimization, and cost-effective production tasks.
Responsibilities
Support infrastructure that development teams use to own and operate their services at Mozilla.
Guide technical decision-making and adoption of user-centric solutions.
Create Claude skills and design agentic workflows that improve developer productivity
Guide team members and promote engineering standard methodologies, with a focus on usability and maintainability.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration for efficient and cohesive platform delivery.
Write proposals and decision briefs for new policies, processes, and platform functionality.
Create new features for the platform with a meaningful value proposition
Be trusted to resolve unclear but urgent tasks.
Requirements
5+ years experience in software engineering with expertise in at least one of (Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, SRE, DevOps)
Proven technical leadership experience.
Expertise in several of the following (ArgoCD, Grafana, K8s, GitHub, Terraform, Helm, Backstage, Cloud Cost Optimization)
Proficient in Python, JavaScript, or Go.
Strong expertise in cloud-native technologies (GCP preferred; AWS also acceptable).
Excellent communication skills aligning technology with user needs and organizational goals.
Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity.
