About the role
- Senior Project Manager delivering nesto Cloud’s mortgage SaaS implementations for financial institutions. Leading discovery, cross-functional delivery, testing, deployment, and post-launch stabilization.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of enterprise client implementations from discovery through deployment and post-launch transition
- Facilitate discovery workshops and requirements sessions to define scope, dependencies, and timelines
- Translate business and technical requirements into actionable delivery plans using Jira and Confluence
- Coordinate Product, Engineering, QA, Operations, and external vendors
- Drive progress and resolve blockers
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and dependencies across multiple workstreams
- Provide weekly status reports, risk logs, and steering committee updates
- Track project health and identify delivery risks, capacity constraints, and cross-program dependencies
- Partner with other Project Managers to align workstreams across major accounts
- Contribute to the evolution of nesto’s delivery framework
- Identify and help implement foundational product management standards and practices
- Collaborate with financial-institution partners, product, engineering, operations, and leadership
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in project management
- At least 3 years of experience in SaaS environments
- Enterprise SaaS delivery experience is a must
- Experience or understanding of non-functional requirements, including monitoring, alerting, high availability, and production/cloud operations
- Direct customer interaction experience
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Experience interfacing with executives, clients, and technical teams
- Ability to manage complex, ambiguous programs with many moving parts
- Advanced organizational skills
- Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar project management tools
- Knowledge of Agile or hybrid delivery models
- French language proficiency required for the Quebec-based role
- Background, criminal, and reference checks required at offer stage
- Nice-to-have: PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or other agile PM certifications
- Nice-to-have: technical background, ideally in engineering or a similar adjacent domain
- Nice-to-have: experience with financial institutions, mortgage or lending technology, or regulated B2B environments
- Nice-to-have: experience using AI tools such as Claude or Gemini
