About the role

  • UI/UX Designer creating and shipping NETGEAR consumer ecommerce interfaces. Extending atomic design systems, maintaining Figma libraries, and using analytics to improve web experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Design and ship UI across the consumer side of netgear.com, from wireframe through developer-ready handoff
  • Design campaign and product landing pages, category and listing pages, product detail pages, media and content pages, and product finder interfaces
  • Work within and extend the atomic web design system
  • Maintain Figma libraries, components, variants, tokens, documentation, and usability
  • Collaborate with front-end developers on feasibility, handoff, implementation, and staging reviews
  • Use website analytics and consumer insights research to inform design decisions
  • Design new web components and recommend page improvements
  • Collaborate with the Graphic Designer on campaign and site-brand consistency
  • Coordinate with the Sr. Integrated Marketing Manager on global campaign alignment
  • Use AI tools where they improve workflow efficiency
  • Provide occasional advisory design direction to teams maintaining their own pages
  • Collaborate with the app team to maintain visual consistency across web and app

Requirements

  • 4+ years designing digital products or marketing interfaces
  • Deep Figma skills, including libraries, components, variants, auto layout, and tokens
  • Genuine interest in AI and experience testing new design tools
  • Portfolio of shipped web work demonstrating design reasoning
  • Current knowledge of UI patterns and conventions
  • Ability to ground design decisions in research and analytics
  • Ability to present work, explain design rationale, and handle stakeholder questions
  • Working understanding of front-end implementation and design system components
  • Clear communication with engineers, product, and non-design stakeholders
  • Prototyping and interaction design skills (nice to have)
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (nice to have)
  • Remote work from Canada; West Coast preferred or PST hours required
