About the role

  • Commercial Account Representative coordinating vehicle sales, inventory, reporting, and customer support for OPENLANE’s Canadian used-vehicle marketplace. Supporting accounts across 14 Vehicle Logistic Centers.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the sale of commercial vehicles by determining vehicle lineups, generating sales agreements, and negotiating pending bids
  • Assess condition reports and obtain authorization for repairs to ensure vehicles meet specifications
  • Enter and manage vehicle information, registrations, transportation requests, and vehicle status updates through company systems and portal
  • Communicate with clients, identify and resolve issues, and respond to repossession/redemption process inquiries
  • Generate inventory and sales reports
  • Process payments, file sales transactions, and transmit sales reports and EFT wire transfers
  • Liaise with local Vehicle Logistic Center contacts to support vehicle and personal property redemption for repo units
  • Collaborate with other Commercial Account Representatives, train as backup for other accounts, and support administrative tasks

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of related experience in account coordination
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using Google Suite
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Able to work with minimal supervision, contributing to team results
  • Prior experience in commercial account management is a definite asset
  • Prior experience within the automotive remarketing industry
  • Experience with AMS, VTrace, and other OPENLANE systems
  • Ability to identify value-added repairs and services is an asset
  • Bilingual in English and French would be considered an asset; the role may require interaction with people who may not speak French
