About the role

CIBC contact centre representative handling inbound telephone banking inquiries and client solutions. Remote Agent@Home work with occasional attendance at the Halifax location.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for clients calling with banking questions or requests
Manage client accounts and products and provide support
Deliver personalized, client-focused service and trusted advice
Listen to client needs, resolve problems, and recommend suitable solutions
Identify opportunities to match clients with appropriate products and services
Complete requests efficiently using CIBC systems and product knowledge
Refer clients to appropriate CIBC contacts and internal departments
Proactively suggest banking options aligned with clients’ financial goals

Must reside within a 2 hour radius of the primary job posting location
Ability to work independently from home with a secure, enclosed workspace
Wired internet connection with minimum download speed of 15 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps
Satellite internet providers are prohibited
Availability and flexibility to work Monday to Sunday between 7 AM and 12 AM
Legally eligible to work at the specified location; valid work or study permit where applicable
May be required to complete an attribute-based assessment and other skills tests
Client service and communication skills
Knowledge of bank and financial products
Inbound call and call center experience or skills
Ability to work collaboratively
