About the role
- Business Intelligence Analyst II at Policy Reporter focusing on BI solutions for healthcare insights. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior members in a remote-first environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards and reporting solutions from scratch
- Enhance existing dashboards and reporting workflows for usability, performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Operations, and other stakeholders to gather requirements
- Troubleshoot dashboard, visualization, and data pipeline issues
- Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy and integrity of reporting outputs
- Proactively identify opportunities for workflow improvements and optimization of BI processes
- Provide guidance and knowledge sharing support to junior team members
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related discipline, or equivalent focused professional experience
- 2–4 years of experience working with BI or analytics tools (e.g., AWS QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and data querying concepts
- Understanding of data visualization best practices and dashboard design principles
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and tools such as AWS Athena, AWS Glue, or AWS Redshift is considered an asset.
