About the role

  • Java Full Stack Developer working on AI-assisted solutions at Portage CyberTech. Designing and integrating modern microservices-based applications with a focus on Public Key Infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and integrate agentic AI solutions to automate processes, orchestrate intelligent agents, and enhance application capabilities
  • Use AI development tools (GitHub Copilot, AI coding assistants, agentic workflows, LLMs, etc.) to improve productivity, code quality, and development efficiency
  • Design, develop and maintain Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) features, including digital certificate management, cryptography, electronic signatures, and trust services
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle within an Agile environment
  • Develop and maintain Java applications (Spring Boot, microservices)
  • Contribute to full-stack development (backend-focused, frontend as needed)
  • Collaborate closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and Security teams to design robust, secure, and scalable solutions

Requirements

  • DEC (college diploma) or university degree in Information Technology, or equivalent experience in software development
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in software development
  • Methodical, self-directed, and organized
  • Ability to solve problems creatively
  • Comfortable communicating in English (spoken and written) in a professional context
