About the role

Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and manage product technical documentation, including manuals and user guides
  • Write, update, and translate documentation in French and English
  • Create and maintain marketing and sales enablement materials, including brochures, product sheets, and PowerPoint presentations
  • Use Copilot in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint to accelerate content creation, review, and formatting
  • Write and maintain equipment operating manuals in accordance with PMMI standards
  • Integrate text, visual, and video content into technical documents and communications materials
  • Capture footage and perform basic video editing to create tutorials
  • Produce and edit technical photographs and videos with the production team
  • Participate in the digital transformation of customer documentation and technical manuals
  • Recommend improvements to technical procedures to optimize equipment performance and operational safety
  • Collaborate with project management, engineering, and service teams
  • Coordinate translation projects completed by external contractors
  • Respond to customer questions regarding technical documentation
  • Organize, categorize, and archive documentation related to sold equipment

Requirements

  • Diploma, vocational diploma, or bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, technical writing, or a relevant technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in technical writing and/or marketing support in a manufacturing or technical environment
  • Bilingual proficiency required: French and English, both written and spoken
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in the MS Office suite, particularly Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience creating and editing visual content, including photos, videos, and graphics
  • Comfortable using digital tools and interested in emerging technologies, including AI applied to writing and content management
  • Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and vendors
  • Ability to explain complex technical information in clear, accessible language
