About the role

Platform Engineer designing and delivering platforms and infrastructure at RAVL. Building cloud-native environments that enable velocity, security, and reliability at scale.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate secure, scalable cloud platforms across AWS, Azure, and GCP
Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi
Implement CI/CD pipelines, automating builds, testing, and deployments for consistency and speed
Enable observability and resilience through logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting solutions
Collaborate with software, data, and security engineers to define standards and improve developer experience
Champion automation-first approaches to configuration management, provisioning, and compliance
Demonstrate ownership of environments - anticipating issues, communicating risks, and resolving problems early
At higher levels: mentor peers, influence architecture, and set standards for operational excellence and security

Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
Experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Understanding of networking, identity, and security concepts across cloud environments
Comfort operating across automation, scripting, and DevOps tooling (Bash, Python, PowerShell, or Go)
