Responsibilities
Provide support to patients and health care providers regarding medication access
Work with patients to complete a needs assessment related to medication access
Act as a liaison between patients, families, health care providers, and payers
Provide answers to general inquiry calls regarding program services or product-related questions
Administer and adhere to case-management protocols, including data collection and patient follow-up
Work directly with the reimbursement specialist to secure funding for therapies
Prepare for and attend training sessions for specific therapies
Attend meetings to educate patients and providers on Patient Support Program services
Establish partnerships with healthcare providers and other agencies to coordinate services
Requirements
Minimum of three (3) years in healthcare, pharmaceutical, insurance, or related experience
Preference for greater than five (5) years of experience
Bilingualism (French and English) strongly preferred
Case management experience in medical or hospital practice or insurance or bio-pharma industry
