Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate refractory product trials and evaluations at customer facilities
Partner with customers and commercial teams to optimize refractory performance and troubleshoot challenges
Deliver technical training programs for sales teams and customers
Collaborate with R&D on product development and continuous improvement initiatives
Recommend refractory materials and lining designs based on customer requirements
Support Operations, product transfer initiatives, and sustainability goals
Travel extensively throughout Canada to support customers and projects
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Ceramic Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline
Advanced degree preferred
5+ years of experience in refractories, ironmaking, or related steel industry applications
Strong understanding of refractory technologies and steelmaking processes
Ability to work safely in heavy industrial environments and follow OSHA requirements
Mechanical aptitude and field support experience
Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
